Our Charity

Papillon Rescue UK is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1137649).

Our mission statement is: Rescuing with compassion and understanding in order to offer safe haven and protection for any Papillon or Phalene in need.

We are based in the UK and are able to help any Papillon or Phalene who is looking for a loving forever home.

We have fantastic volunteers who are able to provide transport and offer much needed, loving foster homes.

Our Trustees

Papillon Rescue UK is formed of 7 Trustees:-

  • Debbie Goodwin - Rescue Coordinator Behaviour and Veterinary Support
  • Jeanette Maggs - Deputy Rescue Coordinator Behaviour IT Admin Support
  • Chris Pougher - Secretary and Treasurer
  • Matt Valentine - IT Geek, Webmaster FB Administrator Instagram Administrator.
  • Jane Taylor - Trustee Support and Behaviour Consultant
  • Ellen Lindley - Trustee Support and Behaviour Consultant
  • Rosemarie Hobson - Trustee Support and Breed Representation

We welcome all applications to become trustees and we can send you the details.

All of our trustees have different skills to enable us to run Papillon Rescue efficiently, effectively and with passion, empathy and commitment. All of us have papillons and work in different areas such as agility, obedience, scentwork, showing, behaviour and veterinary expertise.
